The show on November 23rd will be a unique evening… Richard Strange in concert with Clifford Slapper and friends. It will be an all-music evening, reworking songs from Richard’s 50 year career, from Doctors of Madness to his various solo and collaborative projects.
He will be accompanied for this world premiere by acclaimed pianist Clifford Slapper, who has worked with David Bowie, Boy George, Marc Almond, Holly Johnson, Suggs, Jarvis Cocker, Stereo MCs & many others. Clifford played the piano as Dudley Moore in a BBC recreation of the sketches of Peter Cook and Dudley Moore, presented by Jonathan Ross, and played the piano part for David Bowie’s appearance on Ricky Gervais’ “Extras” TV show.
