JAMES DRAPER
British-Australian singer-songwriter, composer and producer James Draper is launching his new solo project this August, with the beautifully harrowing single ‘High Time’, bound to touch your soul, if not engage your actual tear ducts.
James would be best known to the Musicland Lehman as half of Sydney based Indie Pop Folk Rock band Winterbourne, whose energetic live shows of musical marvel and belligerent banter have satiated fans for over a decade.
Now, it is High Time indeed for James to embark on this new creative endeavour, one that feels foreign yet fated, and sees him reconnect with what has always been at the heart of his musical output – memorable songwriting and intimate performance of the highest caliber that one certainly would not do well to miss. In fact, one could even posit that seeing a James Draper show this soon after the project’s creation would be tantamount to literally witnessing history unfold. Though that is of course true for everything that has ever happened.
