Mike Borgia
Mike Borgia is an Italian American singer-songwriter with over two decades of experience as a professional musician and performer. Born in New York, Mike spent his teens playing clubs as guitarist and backup singer in a progressive metal band. His style slowly evolved to include other genres, notably punk and indie rock, and from 1990s into the early 2000s he fronted a popular indie rock band “Tread.”
In 2001 Mike embarked on a solo career and over the next decade performed several tours of the UK while releasing nine solo records. His UK tours garnered him a loyal fanbase which allowed him to maintain a steady career as a touring recording artist. In 2011 he formed the band “The Problems” in New York. He released 2 albums, 2 E.P’s and several singles.
Today he releases a variety of songs, with primary focus on writing, recording and performing songs as Mike Borgia. Mikes solo performances have been the most profound and reachable, and a real chance to connect with current and new audiences.
