CATTLE & CANE
To celebrate the 10th anniversary of their debut album ‘Home’, indie-folk siblings Cattle & Cane are releasing the much loved album on vinyl for the first time, as well as performing some special ‘Home’ stripped back acoustic live shows across the country.
Joe and Helen have appeared at acclaimed international tastemaker events such as Canadian Music Week and Reeperbahn Festival, as well as at some of the UK’s finest boutique and inner-city festivals including: Cambridge Folk Festival, Black Deer, Tramlines, Live At Leeds, Liverpool Sound City, Deer Shed and Long Division, not to mention the BBC Introducing stage at BBC Radio 2 Live in Hyde Park and T in the Park.
Thanks to playlists such as New Music Friday UK, Folk Pop, Your Coffee Break, Fresh Folk, Very Nearly Nashville and Feelgood Pop, Cattle & Cane have accumulated over 40 million Spotify streams.
Away from the band, Joe is an award-winning songwriter with cuts for the likes of Ward Thomas, Lucy Spraggan and Robbie Williams, as well as recent sessions alongside such luminaries as 10CC’s Graham Gouldman, Beth Nielsen-Chapman and John Smith
In their native Teesside, the band are perhaps best known for their folk anthem ‘Infant Hercules’ – with the lyrics adorning Middlesbrough FC’s home shirt and regularly being played at The Riverside Stadium.
